--------------------------------------

We have received hundreds of emails asking for a light that uses a 10880 cell battery.  We now have the ReyLight 10880 / AAAx2 light which works with both cell variants.

Why use a 10880 Lithium cell? Higher voltage = Much brighter & also rechargeable

Why use standard AAA? Super easy to find and have spares on hand

Specs

- Using 2x AAA battery, Min 1 - max 145 lumens,

  or

  10880 Li-ion battery, Min 1 - max 500 lumens.

You can also use a normal 10440 protected battery plus a dummy AAA cell. Please Do NOT use double 10440.

You can use either 1a or 2a usb adaptor, and a micro usb cable to charge it.  When charging, it has red light,  when fully charged,  it will turn to  blue.  It usually takes 3 hrs from empty to full charging.

1. Turn on the light.

a. 1 blink: mode group selection. Press the button to enter this menu.

i. 1 blink: (ML)-2%-20%-100%

ii. 2nd blink: (ML)-10%-40%-100%

iii. 3rd blink: (ML)-2%-10%-50%

iv. 4th blink: (ML)-50%-100%-strobe-SOS

It then repeats. Press the button during any blink to select that mode group.

b. 2 blinks: mode memory on-off toggle (default off). Press the button during the two blinks or during the strobe after to turn mode memory on. Repeat to turn mode memory off.

c. 3 blinks: moonlight mode off-on toggle (default on). Press the button during the three blinks or during the strobe after to turn moonlight off. Repeat to turn moonlight on.

d. 4 blinks: mode order toggle (default LMH). Press the button during the four blinks or during the strobe after to change the mode order from Low Medium High to High Medium Low. Repeat to reverse the order.

e. 5 blinks: factory reset. Press the button during the five blinks or during the strobe after to reset the light to factory settings.

Warning: Don't use this cell in any another AAA or Maratac® flashlight that you
own as it will void your warranty, and destroy the light.

Misusing or mishandling a lithium-ion battery may cause a FIRE or EXPLOSION which can result in INJURY or DEATH. You MUST read the safety warnings and resources before purchasing, using, and/or handling batteries.

Compact and powerful

This is a great little flashlight.
Packs a nice punch with all the available power levels.
It is nice to be able to use LiIon, NiMH, or alkaline batteries, which is handy in a pinch.
I like the Nichia 4000K LEDs, since they are less harsh on the eyes., especially in low light.
I would have like to have memory mode enabled by default, but it wasn't too hard to enable.
Countycomm supplies several of their flashlights with square plastic tube vaults, which are nice cases. I would definitely buy the square tubes separately if I could.

Overall a great light.

Pretty Good - Switch is Mushy

This is a good light, and the 10880 rechargeable battery is great. However, the tailcap switch is very mushy and does not give a positive tactile click. County Comm's 2xAAA penlight is better, even though that one cannot take a 10880.

Great Flashlight , but it turns on accidently easily if in front shirt pocket

I did buy a raised tailpiece that makes the button countersunk on reylight site that is a update for $6 that makes it a perfect flashlight

Great pineapple grip, hard to program, added tritium

It took me about an hour to program these two, following the directions exactly. I only wanted to disable moonlight, set 10%-40%-100%, and reverse the order so it always came on brightest. I had to do it over and over on both lights. Also, one of mine is noticeably brighter than the other, even switching batteries. It seems that the cell would have larger capacity than 750 mAh given it's length and charge faster given it's low capacity.
I put 1.5 x 6 mm tritium tubes from MixGlow.com in my switches with clear RTV. It came out swell.
