AR15/M-16 Front Sight
In 1999 CountyComm’s Government Products Group was part of a program called Improved Soldier Sighting Technology (ISST99). Our part in the program was to manufacture front sights for M-16 type of weapons that could be equipped with different types of inserts for study and research. More than10 years later we discovered in these in the back the machine shop. These are mil-spec front sights with a slot cut lengthwise and a hole bored through that allows you to insert different colored materials, photoluminescent materials or even tritium vials (providing you have the correct permits from the NRC).
