20 mm WATCH BANDS
When members of the military asked for a watch band that would match their new MARPAT Digital Camouflage uniforms we listened.
We contacted the contractor who weaves the current issue watch bands and asked them to weave a Digital Camouflage Pattern. We found out that there is only one machine in the U.S. that is capable of weaving a digital pattern into Polypropylene webbing. After waiting 6 months to get our band material in the weaving machine here's what we came up with:
The Polypropylene band has Digital Woodland Camouflage woven into only one side. The other side is Olive Drab.
The band is too narrow to allow room for the MARPAT license logo. This means this band can not be called MARPAT, and we did not have to ask permission and pay licensing fees. This allowed us to bring this project in under budget. The young men who ordered these bands were very happy and we are equally pleased to be able to offer our remaining "extras" here.
