MARATAC AQC COMPASS CALIBRATION

Simple Calibration: Remember, A Good Initial Calibration Is Very Important. Do not calibrate your new watch near your computer monitor, hard drive or any other metalic or magnetic materials. Inside a steel building is definately a No No. The AQC behaves just like a regular compass.

Notes : Before calibration, make sure compass hand points to 12 o'clock. If it does not, press either PUSH BUTTON to move compass hand until it points to 12 o'clock. Push CROWN in when done and recalibrate compass.
1. Pull crown to middle position.
2. Press either push button to begin.
3. The compass hand will rotate around twice.
4. Then, slowly (15 Seconds per rotation) rotate the watch on a flat surface twice.
5. Push either push button
6. The compass hand will point to the current declination angle. Make sure the compass ring has North adjusted to 12 o'clock, so that you can see the declination scale, which is within thirty degrees of North.

7. Press either push button to move the compass hand to your area's specific declination angle (east is +; west is -).
8. Push crown in to complete calibration.
