County Comm R&D Group, known as the "Skunk Works" or sometimes the "Fireworks Factory" has been up and operating to some degree since the day we opened our doors. We started making custom solutions for special clients, but then it got out of control. R&D has been taking over more and more of our time over the last few years and has turned from a hobby and interest to an integral portion of our business. We have assembled a staff of full and part time professionals who love to work with the latest technology and like nothing more than working with our vendors to make their product better for our/their clients. Those of you that have had the opportunity to come in and visit our shop in Santa Clara never know what you'll see. We routinely do R&D work on bomb robots, state owned briefcases (We can't tell you anymore) portable spotlights, two-way radio equipment, dive wristwatches and more. This portion of our web site will be getting much more attention in the near future.
