LED Type: Cree 7090-XR-E Q5 with a life span up to 50,000 hours. The reflector is aluminum alloy. Flashlight body is made of aircraft grade aluminum covered with Type 3 anodization. The lens has been treated with a AR (Anti-Reflective) coating. Battery Installation: 1. Remove by unscrewing the head or tail cap. Install a quality AA battery with + side toward head (Remember, This Flashlight Uses A Single AA Battey) 2. Reassemble
To Activate The Light: simply click on the switch or half press it for momentary activation. The brightness can be ramped up or down by loosening the head, once the desired brightness level is reached, simply tighten the head. The ramping sequence alternates in direction each time you loosen the head. The light will blink 3 times when the minimum and twice at maximum level of brightness. The light provides a low battery warning by blinking towards the end of the battery life.
